A little bear arrived this morning, all the way from Texas. You may have seen ‘Teddy’ around before, he is a friend of OMSH. He used to live in this beautiful shop, now he’s in my messy diningroom, living on Great-Grandma’s side board (for now). He’s kind of quiet but, he seems happy enough. He’s smiling. We like him – A LOT.
Just wait until you see what was in the package for Georgia – TOO cute (coming soon).

A new contest starts on Wednesday … Yeah!
However, just to keep things rolling, I’ll randomly draw one commenter from this post to win a pair of Bical Grippers (my favorite kids shoes). ‘Teddy’ is kind of a boring name. What do you think we should call our new bear?

The bear shall be known as Patches.
Because it’s a patchwork bear.

You could call him “Joe” or “JoeJoe” for Joseph’s Coat of many colors – looks like the pics that show up when you google “coat of many colors” – it is immediately what I thought of when I saw him. Patches is cute too. You would think as a TX girl I could come up with something whitty for a TX bear, but I really don’t have anything..Have a great day!

I also like the suggestion of Patches. A very cute name for the colorful guy.
BTW – I love your new header and the look. Can not remember if I mentioned that before. :)

Are you sure he’s a he? I think to me it looks like a girl teddy bear and if she were I think she looks like an Allie. But if she really is a he than I agree with most everyone else on Patch.

I was actually thinking Patches but whitchypoo beat me to it. How about Star for Texas.
I also vote for Lucy’s Kaleidoscope because it would be fun to hear a 3 year old try to say Kaleidoscope. It’s cute I just had my niece say it.
Bicals would be great to have for this summer. Just today, my niece was asking when summer would be here because it is taking too long and it’s been cold already too long. I agree!!
Thanks for the comment. I *heart* NOLA too. You should check out Jacques-Imo’s the next time you are down that way. By far the best place we ate. A little crowded but aren’t all restaurants down there? You also have to walk through the kitchen to get to your table in the back. Bar is up front.
