We’ve been enjoying our summer,
We’ve been kayaking, hiking, biking and …
rock climbing. This is me. I think this my be my first and only full body image on the blog. Do NOT look too close.
This is Sam climbing in this photo. He did really well.
When we’re not hanging from mountain ledges, we’ve been enjoying …
The sunshine …
and the scenery.
Did I mention the scenery?
What have you been up to?

@StellaRobi, Thank you!
Love those photos, like I keep saying! You’re a talented woman!
@Pauline, Thank you!
Wow! that’s beautiful. Rock climbing is something we’ve been talking about doing with the kids when they get older. How old were your kidlets when you started?
@Ashley, They all started about age four, but really none of them really climbed until six or seven. When they’re little they chicken out after about 8 or 10 feet.
WOw at the rock climbing!! Here we have to do rock climbing indoors, at rocknasiums, as we don’t really have big mountains like that! LOVE the photos! The scenery is breathtaking!
@Hannah, Really? I thought NZ had all kinds of great rock climbing. That shows you what I know.
I took so many photos. Now I have to go through them all.
nice! beautiful pics! Ryan & i were really into rock climbing prior to kids. since they’re been born i’ve only been 1x after each. boo. we keep saying “someday” we’ll take them & get back into it. since they’re (almost) 4 & 5.5 i think we’re at a good place for it!
as for our summer plans, they included moving from Washington State back to Richmond, VA. :) Last move, i promise. ;)
@Jenn B, Thanks Jenn! Your kids are the right age :) Especially Asher.
Hope the move is easy and uneventful. Blog it :)

Nice pic! Cool place to have a picnic indeed
The place really looks amazing with adventurous people like you. I wish I have the courage to do the same stunts. LoL! Thank you for sharing such wonderful scenery and providing bits of information about the possible activities which we can do in that place.
