Lay’s® Chip Trip – Sunshine Meadows

Would you love to experience a high alpine meadow, but just can’t quite see yourself climbing the 3000+ ft of mountain to get there?

Then the Sunshine Meadows shuttle is the Lay’s® Chip Trip for you ($21 value for 20pt = 2 large bags of chips). You catch the bus at the bottom of the Sunshine Village Ski Resort and it takes you up the main lodge area.  From there, there are several hikes you can take.

There is still some uphill hiking, so you’ll get lots of exercise, but you are now in the alpine zone and the views are outstanding.

I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

The Long, Long Route

We arrived safe and sound! We took the long, long (scenic) route, as our English friends are along. The views were great, even through my cracked windshield. Check out the big horn sheep, just hanging around in the middler of the road. It’s always fun when you come zooming around Read more…

The Great Migration

The Great Migration –> I suppose that’s a bit of an exaggeration, seeing as the new warehouse is just a couple of miles from the old location. There was NOTHING great about today! Except, the fact that it is done! We are moved in and ‘very’ organized. We have considerably Read more…
