It’s been nuts this week in Mommyknowsville. Along with our usual, super busy schedule, I was lucky enough fly to Chicago to visit the Kraft Kitchens. I’ve got a great post in the works all about the trip. It was fabulous.
Mr. MK and I passed each other briefly in the hallway Friday morning. I’d just arrived home from the Kraft tour and he was headed out on a rock climbing holiday. Well, it was more than a passing (but barely), he had just enough time to rustle through my suitcase and steal my ‘Back to Nature’ Nuts!
*Edit: this is not Mr. MK. It’s my good friend Scott.
I call this one: Kraft took Mommyknows to Chicago and gave her some ‘Back to Nature’ nuts. Mommyknows took the Kraft nuts to the Canadian Rockies and took them back to nature.
See you soon!
MK xo

Wow, perfect timing for him and the nuts. Did you make it a stipulation that you’d provide the nuts on the condition that he snapped a picture of him eating them?

@brooke – you hit the nail on the head brooke! thanks for stopping by.
It was great meeting you at the Kraft event! And holy cow, you must live in the most beautiful place on earth! What fabulous pictures you have on your blog. Wow!!!
@dawn – thank you! it was great meeting you too.
Sounds like a fun trip. Looking forward to hearing all about it. That is one heck of a beautiful landscape. I think it would be pretty cool to live close to mountains. I don’t rock climb, but looking would be fun.
@madeline – kraft was tons of fun. I am trying write a post that does it justice but isn’t a novel!
Gosh, I had better not let my hubby see this post, because he will be insanely jealous! Rock climbing, gorgeous scenery, snow-capped mountains (and presumably snowboarding??) … he’d be in heaven!
That’s a great photo of Mr MK with your nuts. I’m curious to hear more about the Kraft event you went to!
Thanks for the comment on my blog just before. I guess your questions were the ones that really got me thinking, and gave me inspiration for whole posts. I must make sure I answer some of the other ones next though! Like “what’s in your fridge?” … I have been putting that one off as it badly needs a clean!! ROFL!

@hannah, you should show rob this post! Then you should plan a trip and come and visit!
I must clarify … that isn’t Mr. MK, it’s my friend Scott. I will edit post to clarify.

Oh…my…gosh, but the view is making my eyes burn. How come green and blue don’t ever look that, you know, green and blue, here in Jersey? Don’t answer that. I’d love to visit you, sometime. [hint-hint] Minus the rock climbing, of course :)

@liz – you can visit and bring the whole clan! Garth (I know that’s not his real name) might like climbing, and the kids too. ANY TIME!
Wow that scene almost looks photoshoped. I love the outdoors and looking at his kind of pictures makes me wish my laptop and I were there :)

Wow, I’ve been buying kraft for over 11 years, and its was so interesting to see what does on in their location. Looks like a well run operation.
@sterling – Very well run. Thanks for stopping by.
HeHe, nice post. Wowee the Canadian Rockies sure are beautiful aren’t they! I never quite knew they looked like that.. his rock climbing trip must have been something else!
@changing bag – the Canadian Rockies are spectacular! Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for following me Brian! I’ll do the same shortly. The Canadian Rockies are fabulous. I love them. I love climbing too. My husband and some friends actually did the via ferrata in Nordegg, AB. It is the first via ferrata in the Rockies. The whole family is going to try it next time. Apparently the approach is tough, but the actual rock face is OK :)
Nice post. The Canadian Rockies look awesome! I have always wanted to do rock climbing in the rockies but have never had the chance.
Seeing this though makes me think I should just do it. Stop thinking about it and just do it. Simple as that.
For now though I will have to just stick to the rock climbing center in my home town :)
