Lay’s® Chip Trip – Sunshine Meadows

in Family, General, Photography, Product Reviews

Would you love to experience a high alpine meadow, but just can’t quite see yourself climbing the 3000+ ft of mountain to get there?

Then the Sunshine Meadows shuttle is the Lay’s® Chip Trip for you ($21 value for 20pt = 2 large bags of chips). You catch the bus at the bottom of the Sunshine Village Ski Resort and it takes you up the main lodge area.  From there, there are several hikes you can take.

There is still some uphill hiking, so you’ll get lots of exercise, but you are now in the alpine zone and the views are outstanding.

I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

indian paintbrush
I think this indian paintbrush alone was worth the hike.

Lay’s® Chip Trips has a great partnership with the Canadian Tourism Board (CTC). The CTC has a great site called LocalsKnow.ca, it has all kinds of great travel deals that you can take advantage of this summer.

Those photo’s are amazing. There is sometimes nothing finer than going on a hike and taking photos. You end up with that wonderful tiredness you get from a day outside and the best photos are always found off the beaten track. Camping there would be amazing

WOW, it has been a few years since i’ve taken this hike! (before the kids) Nice to meet you—seems like we live in the same neck of the woods.
