My Very Own Drama Queen

Published by on

My very own drama queen. Maybe drama princess, as I am still the reigning queen!

After a extremely LOUD and verbal argument with her sister, Georgia ended up on my bed. She was hot, sobbing and very distraught. Mr. MK informed me that she was being horrible and needed to go to bed. I’d missed the ‘horrible’ part and I couldn’t help feeling sorry for my sobbing toddler.

Me: What can I get you? What will make you feel better?

Georgia: An apple (hiccup) and an ice pack (sob).

This is definitely a girl who knows what she wants (needs). It worked like a hot-damn!

Awww… she’s adorable. It’s sad that I can still pull that on my mother now, lol.

How sweet!! I actually quite like it when I miss the “horrible” because I (being the non-mean parent who gives the naughty child attention) get lots of cuddles!! I’m guessing it’s like that for you, too.

She looks so sweet, how could she possibly cause any trouble?

Really a cute baby, Wow she is so beautiful.

I’d say there isn’t much an apple and an ice pack won’t cure, although I prefer the ice in my glass with an appletini poured over the top. She’s adorable. :)

I’m with Midlife Slices–apples and icepacks sound like a great fix-all (though appletini is appealing, too)!

the ice pack for her eyes?

Bitter Apple · February 24, 2009 at 5:44 pm

Too funny! At least she tells you what she wants. I spend hours trying to decipher what my sobbing little one is trying to say. And then by the time I understand she is onto the next thing she wants.

Beijinger · February 24, 2009 at 8:12 pm

Hi!
What a cute kid she is! Look at her lips that look like cherry . I guess , she is same age with my niece.

I really admire the way she responded. Georgia sounded like she already knows what will bring her comfort. Does she respond similarly whenever she needs comfort?

Awwww… bless her little heart! Her feelings were hurt!
For some reason I have a feeling my daughter will react like this at one time or another. LOL
She’s so precious. I love the expression on her face in this picture. =)

Aw, she is so cute! I guess when you look into these blue eyes, it doesn’t matter what she did before…and the world is fine again! Right!? :)
Btw: You are a very good photgrapher! I like the pictures that you post on your blog!

Grog · February 26, 2009 at 12:35 pm

What was all the hub bub about?
From looking at that precious picture, it looked as though she was bound end determined to get something. :)
