Mandeville House After Katrina

Well, actually, she’s NOT and this isn’t her handy work in the front yard, but that of mother nature and more precisely Hurricane Katrina.

This picture of their new home on the north shore of Lake Ponchartrain was taken 3 weeks after Katrina. The hurricane managed to fill their home with more than 2′ of water.

The pictures of Les’ are incredible. My Mom liked the stories best.

My Dad was speechless.

Billie couldn’t possibly let her children get that close to a ‘wild’ animal.
