Mommy Knows … you shouldn’t feed the bears!

Really, I do know this, but my grandmother obviously doesn’t! Which certainly must be the reason that she befriended the bear cub she found living under the apple trees; fed him through the fall until that cute little cub became this nearly grown bear.

What you see on the above header is the family out saying “good-bye” after thanksgiving dinner. The nice little cub is being picked up by forestry personnel the next day. He was just getting too big to keep — could he possibly decide to eat Grandma and not apples?

NO, the kids are not in danger … right behind them is the house and a dozen adults.
