I’ve been busy!

Published by on

I have a secret confession to make! I’m a domain hoarder … I buy them and stash them away, with future plans to turn them all into $ pits! HA … I’ve got about 25 just waiting to become real live wordpress blogs.

One of them was: clothdiapertips.com – I originally bought it to drive traffic to, and up my SEO @ the old place. I figured I should give it a spruce up. So here it is:

Go give it a look over and let me know what you think! WHAT, you’re too busy? … Hmmm … there’s a contest over there!

I’ve been slaving away for a few days, taking photos, writing code, editing templates, writing code, creating graphics, writing code (OMG … writing code). It’s been fun. REALLY.

If any of you are interested in a WordPress blog (it’s the only way to go). If you’ve been wanting your own domain, because you’re sick of all of that .blogspot stuff. I can help. I work cheap … like borsh! Email me or leave me a comment below and I’ll email you!

I like the site. Nice layout and it is easy to navigate. One can tell that you put in a lot of time and effort. I really like the theme. Being a stay at home Dad I learned a lot about diapers but never explored cloth. Thanks.

i haven’t gone to the site yet (i’ll bookmark it for later), but had to comment ‘real quick’: lol! Ryan does this same thing….all his plans for ‘internet marketing’. ha. and he “specializes” in custom wordpress blogs. :)

yes…i do need to talk to you about the blog job…although we are broke i’m getting sick of the easysite basics…just too plain. love the cloth diapering stuff. we have a local mom and daughter team who make awesome ones. they’re called angelwraps… we mainly used those. of course i wasn’t a purist and used them just when i wanted! thank god for pull ups. i have a friend who washes diapers in restarea bathroom sinks while traveling with two kids in third world countries…just too much for moi!

Naomi · March 7, 2009 at 8:16 pm

It looks really great. I almost entered the giveaway, although it might be a tad late to start cloth diapering Jasper…

Hey I just bought my first 2 domains and I think I may get addicted. It was so easy.

I also bought space using Squarespace … I tried WordPress, but couldn’t get into it. Now I wish I had talked to you first. I am so novice.

Good for you on this new website … I will check it out.

Here’s my take. I am NOT a technical person. My personal blog is on Blogger and I find it exponentially easier than my WordPress work one. I still haven’t figured out how to resize and align pictures on WordPress where it is easily built-into the toolbar on Blogger.

I love the new site. I am a big WP fan and a fan or Brian Gardner as well. So good choice on theme and platform.
The topic is great too! Having been raised on cloth diapers, I never understood why people don’t use them anymore, especially considering the price of disposable diapers.
Looks like quite a few people still do use them. Kudos to you gals and guys!

Ah. Another thing to collect!

Sarah @ BecomingSarah.com · March 9, 2009 at 3:17 pm

Oh my gosh, I don’t know how I possibly missed this before (or how I forgot, sorry), but do you…do you cloth diaper?

And if you do, can you tell me all your secrets and can I be your new best friend?!

Okay, now that that’s out of my system, I’m on my way to the website to learn some of the secrets which I so dearly covet. (Seriously, laugh, but the other Internet window I have open right now is the goodmama website lol).

Pam Boyd · March 9, 2009 at 4:23 pm

My girls are now 16 and 18 and I used cloth diapers for both. But OH, to have had a website like this back then would have been GREAT! I counted myself lucky that we had one diaper service available and ordered diaper covers through a magazine:)))

Damselfly · March 9, 2009 at 6:20 pm

Your new site looks great! I am stocking up on pocket diapers for the baby. :)

A neat website indeed! Clean and elegant. I like it. Well done! I have heard a lot about wordpress and never got the opportunity to try it out. You have just convinced me and showed me the true potential of wordpress. I salute you! :)

Baby Pushchairs · May 3, 2009 at 5:46 am

This is very impressive! I like the clean look and feel with the easy navigation (and lots of white space!) Cool.. What other sites have you got in the pipeline- once you’ve got the time to share? I’ve just started mine called ‘Baby Pushchairs Reviewed’ and will hope to share some tips with new mums & dads and get some feedback.

WOw, looks like you have a good grasp on WordPress there. I saw a cloth diaper episode on dirty jobs which gave me a greater appreciation for mothers who use them. Lovely design on the site by the way.
