You Spin Me Right Round Baby (coffee contest continues)

Winner is: Penelope —> email me @ kim (@) mommyknows (dot) com.

I was a wee bit worried I wouldn’t make the NaBloPoMo deadline tonight. After coming back to the hotel for supper and a quick swim, the plan was to head back to Disney for the parade and fireworks. NOPE, Georgia fell asleep on the shuttle over there, so Mr. MK has gone on with the older kids and Georgia and I just rode the shuttle home again. I am absolutely exhausted, and so, a tad relieved.

It was a hugely busy day at Disney with crazy lineups. Only the pink teacup received a generous two thumbs up from the finicky Georgia. Who is refusing all rides if they have a tunnel. Don’t worry we’re not missing out. We just lie to her.

Taken on my iphone.

This was the last ride of the day. The photo is kind of crazy, busy and blurry … and that’s how it looked and felt in real life. Mmmm, I love the colors.

It has me humming: You spin me right round baby, right round, like a record baby, right round, round, round …

I did have my ‘good’ camera with me. All 3 million pounds of it, along with the 1.5 million pound DEAD battery. Gotta love my iPhone.

I’ll be doing my NaBloPoMo thingy all during the holiday. I’ll also be twittering the road trip away –> follow me on twitter @ http://twitter.com/mommyknows.

All comments and back-links for this post will be entered to win a $10 Starbucks Gift Card (includes shipping and handling) in my ‘Have a Coffee on Me’ Contest. If you comment and blog about the contest you’ll receive two entries (too easy). I have a whole ‘schwack’ of Gift Cards to give away, so make sure and come back often for a chance to ‘have a coffee on me’.

That is a great photo. I always loved the teacups when I was little.

Last time I was at Disney we left just after the parade and before the fireworks. It’s a very long day if you stay from opening to closing.

It is a good thing you took that pic with your iphone.. It is AWESOME!! It honest to goodness feels like I am on it looking at that picture. I don’t think I have ever looked at a picture in my life that made me dizzy (my eyes) but that one did it! Maybe cause there is not clear focal point and it is all motion..but also maybe because we ALL know about the teacups.. I wonder if that was a picture from a car passing trees if it would have the same effect.. Nonetheless – GREAT PIC! Go iphone!

Tenille · November 12, 2008 at 11:45 am

Great picture! Definately helps capture that dizzy feeling you’d get from that ride! Thanks for the contest!!

Thats a really neat photo, though I must admit i feel seasick just looking at it. Still, i’m impressed at the iphone’s photography capabilities.

Baby Gear · November 20, 2008 at 7:13 pm

I think the picture is great! Disney is very tiring, but I think Mom and Dad are more wore out than the kids! :)

Now this is no doubt just a coincidence, and not really a conspiracy to make our heads explode. We should probably just take a deep breath and then post a Venn Diagram illustrating the connections but our diagramist is in meetings off-site.
