Who Can Turn the World on with her Smile?

who can turn the world on with her smile?
Who can turn the world on with her Smile?
Who can take a nothing day, and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile?
Well it’s you girl, and you should know it
With each glance and every little movement you show it

“Love is All Around” – by Paul Williams

Every time I look at the large image of Georgia walking down the street. I start singing the Mary Tyler-Moore theme song. The image ‘IS’ Georgia.

I thought I ought to let you all know, she isn’t difficult ALL the time.

Questions for you:
If your kiddo had a theme song, what would it be?

My NOVEL is coming along –> 20368 of 50000. It’s a romance and it’s complete and utter rubbish! Gotta love it! I’m pretty darn sure it’ll never be mass produced. I’m plodding along, nevertheless.

“Born to be Wild” LOL

    MommyKnows · November 7, 2009 at 4:58 pm

@Justine, I can see it! I’ll have to keep thinking and come up with something for my other three.

Geez, I thought you were writing about me there for a second, but I guess you’re right, it’s not me turning the world on with my smile. I’m not turning much on these days (don’t worry, I’m not going to start talking about my snookey who’s always turned on by my smile – or lack thereof). Ok, I said I wouldn’t talk about that.

Great pic. Love the big one. You do some great captures.

My Bethany saw Georgia’s pictures and said, “Hey when I was bigger (she’s only 2 and it’s about the only thing she talks about, being bigger) I’ll be like that girl!” And her theme song would be “I am slowly going crazy 1,2,3,4,5,6, switch!” because well, she gives me reason to sing it to myself All. Day. Long.

    MommyKnows · November 7, 2009 at 6:35 pm

@Ashley, Bethany will be bigger way too soon!

Georgia isn’t in a hurry to grow up. She’s the first of my kids, to insist … that she is NOT getting bigger/older.

Love the pictures! And her pigtails are just killing me. :) I think your daughter and mine would be friends.

Anyway, theme songs…that’s a tough one! I think I’ll have to think about it some more.

@Safire, Thank you! I think Butterfly and Georgia would be friends too. They both seem to have attitude with a plus.

    It’s a good thing!

What a fantastic song to think of when you see your child! Now that is love and admiration!
Mine have a whole playlist and I think it depends on the day and each of our moods:)

Okay..the first verse of this is both my girls..but this is more J’s song..

She’s got a smile that it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky
Now and then when I see her face
She takes me away to that special place
And if I stared too long
I’d probably break down and cry

Oh, sweet child o’ mine
Oh, sweet love of mine

She’s got eyes of the bluest skies
As if they thought of rain
I hate to look into those eyes
And see an ounce of pain
Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place
Where as a child I’d hide
And pray for the thunder and the rain
To quietly pass me by

Oh, sweet child o’ mine

AND H’s song – no lyrics needed, Im sure – GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN!!!!!!1

Children are such a blessing.

Our little girl Shanti brings such joy to her mum and dad.

Debb · November 10, 2009 at 11:38 am

Love the pictures. My mom would say that I was an angle when I was asleep and dreaming no bad dreams. lol For some reason I thought about her and the saying when I seen the pictures.

children bring joy because for me they represent new innocent life. It’s hard to have troubles when you think about others. Children rock

She is a DOLL! I asked my husband what our daughter Hurricane Hadley’s theme song would be. We think it would be the tornado scene in Wizard of Oz. :-)

My daughter Jessica is such a funny and happy girl, her scense of humour is awesome, whenever she breaks or spills something (which is often)lol I say lucky you are so cute. Her song would be You are so beautiful to me….you are everything I hoped for and everything I need….you are so beautiful to me!By the way love the site and the picture! My other daughter Jaden is so smart and sweet and a song for her would be In my daughters eyes by Martina McBride, listen to this and you will shed some tears; )
