Today, this is Hard …

I am craving lobster!

** 10 minutes of silence ** fingers hovering over keyboard ** nothing!**

Is the title starting to make sense yet? My mind is blank … well, except for the LOBSTER.

I am thinking about taking up extreme-ironing –> I’ll get Mr. MK to try it out first, you know, so I don’t get hurt! It’s sort of a ‘kill two birds with one stone’ kind of sport –> get fit and get ready all in one go!

Which reminds me, I’ve been exhausted all week. I STILL haven’t recovered from my night out!

MommyKnows and Mr. MommyKnows (along with the 3 youngest WeKnowNothing hooligans) are thinking of taking MommyKnows on the Road. Just a short family trip, any suggestions? Where would you like to see us go?

Work is making me crazy! Anyone out there want a career in etail?

I think you should go to Disneyland, weren’t you going to go when Sam got to a certain height – I remember you blogging about it back in Sept/Oct. He must be there now, plus Georgia would love all the princesses!

Skiing in the rockies baby! Or the orgeon coast. Storm watching in a condo right on the ocean. Whoo-hoo.

I’ve never had lobster. Some tropical climate would feel nice this time of year.

hmmm…lobster – now that’s something i never crave…guess I’m not a seafood kind of person! ;) And going on the road sounds fun! How about saskatchean?! haha…yeah, yeah, I know…nobody wants to travel to our flat boring province – but it’s not really that bad – but I do prefer the mountains ;)

Banff-skiing, hot springs, shopping and food= perfect. And even the thought of lobster makes me ill.

Texas is always nice – if you DONT like winter.. :)
They are saying to bundle up for Sunday (the low is 47) – I know – other states are laughing at us; but when you are used to 105 in the summer, 47 is COLD!!

If you are craving Lobster maybe you should go to the Canadian East coast? Although you may not find it under all the snow.

I’ll take your store – I’d love to work there!

oh I’d LOVE some lobster… but it seems highly unlikely that I’ll get any here in northeast Saskatchewan, Canada considering we are thousands of miles from the nearest ocean… sad isn’t it?

Oh man, bring on the lobster!

You know, it’s hard to come up with comments every day too, LOL!

Wow, I just don’t think I have what it takes for extreme ironing…good thinking to have hubbie “test” it out first. :)

Jaime Stephens · January 12, 2008 at 10:01 am

I second (or third) Banff. The hotsprings are just what you need!

Susy-Q · January 12, 2008 at 11:38 am

I say head for Vancouver Island. Although, at this time of year, the weather is nothing to brag about. Maybe you should stick with the mountains. They are always a sure bet.

Those extreme ironing pictures are a hoot. Looks like a bunch of college students with too much time on their hands.

Go Skiing, cause i want to be there when you take GiGi to Disneyland… Plus skiing’s something i can’t do so do it extra for me!!! I miss it!! Ohh yeah and i think you should put the kids in Boarding lessons… Way cooler!

Skiing does sound like a nice little getaway. And I bet a nice resort may even offer lobster :)

Audra Marie · January 12, 2008 at 2:45 pm

Now I’m hungry for lobster. Don’t you hate those days when no words come?

Head somewhere warm and sunny, take pictures, post pictures and allow me to live vicariously through them. :)

Deb · January 13, 2008 at 8:57 pm

I say head north. I just watched Extreme North (like Amazing Race but up in the Queen Charlottes) and it was GORGEOUS. You could take some awesome pics there.

Cindi Hoppes · January 13, 2008 at 11:07 pm

My sons always like a cabin. We would play board games, card games, indoors! Then, we could fish and hike the trails! Sometimes, we used the kitchen, grilled outdoors or found a quaint restaurant! Cindi

Kait · January 14, 2008 at 7:36 am

Hmm, somewhere outdoorsy. I’d love to see the pictures!

Jenny M · January 14, 2008 at 9:01 am

I hear ya about retail. Sheesh one of our customers who tells us we’re all fat and mean- Im still not sure why he comes in every day.
How bout a trip to Green Bay, Wisconsin- You can catch the packers mania- as we head towards the superbowl=)

Michelle · January 14, 2008 at 10:45 pm

Someday when the kids are a little older we plan on going to Drumheller. That isn’t too bad a trip from where you are. Though I have to say our city is definitely a great destination. Lakes, wine, mountains, skiing, hiking and more. I love Penticton (but would be much nicer to visit in summer)
