Tired, Sore …

Published by on

Tired, sore, wind and sun burnt. That’s just the tip of the ice berg (pun intended).

I am shuffling around barely able to walk! I bought new boots this a.m., they are making me use muscles I didn’t know I had. I am starting to seize up — REALLY!

I wish I could put you all on the top of the mountain, so you could see this in person. It sounds hoaky, but it makes you feel just a little closer to God. It’s breath-taking! My Fuji-pix just doesn’t do it justice.

I would love to see a view like that! It looks so breathtaking..and like you, I would just stand and soak/breath it all in! Yall are so lucky to get to do trips like that for the weekend or a few days.. Down here in Texas, a trip like that is a week or more adventure because we have to drive a day or more just to find snow :)

Brrr! It’s making me chilly. The mountains are absolutely spectacular.

I wish I were on top of that mountain! At least, I can get the gist of it.
Thanks so much for your wonderful picture taking. Hope you get done being sore. Cindi

i totally agree with the mommy who said it looks “fake”!!! btw i just got new boots and i had a really hard time the first run with them. i felt really old, tired, and sore after a day of skiing last week. (it reminded me of how MY parents used to complain after hitting the slopes!!!)

It sure looks like a beautiful place! Hope you feel better soon, and are having a great time.
I am curious..what type of camera are you using? I am in need of a new one and you take beautiful pictures.

So, about those mountains? Can I join you there for a couple of hours or so??
(I won’t last longer than that; unfortunately, skiing and I have grown apart a bit these last few years:()

What a beautiful place to visit. I am so sick of snow but when I look at your picture it makes me remember why I live in snow country.

Beena · April 8, 2008 at 9:21 am

I’m not a fan of nature but seeing all those snow so white makes me feel jealous. I’ve never experienced snow cause I live near the equator. T T

I just wish as a 40 something year old that I’d tried skiing when I was younger, because now I don’t think I could, but my children just love it, whilst even tobogganing frightens the living daylights out of me
