The Nerve of Some Peoples Kids!

Am I raising ‘Little Suzy Home-Wrecker’?

Little Suzy Home-Wrecker
Like mother, like daughter!

Hey! That’s not true, my kitchen is nearly always clean! I’d never pile my dishes on the counter! The mess in this play kitchen is starting to get on my nerves. I get my kitchen looking spiffy, I turn around and have to look at this.

Georgia for heaven sakes clean up your kitchen! Really, it’s so much easier if you do them right after dinner the tea party! You’ll never get those ‘stuck on’ smarties off the pan if you leave them sitting over night.

Umm ... I'm thinking this doesn't belong here!

Sam, when I ask you to bring in firewood –> TAKE. IT. ALL. THE. WAY. TO. THE. FIREPLACE! It SO does not belong in the middle of the kitchen.

Lizzy, you’re still on my good side –> STAY. THERE!

Oh come on mom, you said, “bring in the firewood”, it’s in. Why the hassle??? Gotta love boys eh?

Michelle · January 10, 2008 at 8:59 pm

Love the play kitchen! I would love to have all retro looking appliances. We have an old stove in our rental suite and I love it but I imagine it is far from being energy efficient!

Auntie Gayle · January 10, 2008 at 9:12 pm

Gawd! That play kitchen would have been a dream come true when I was a child. Not sure if it would have been that messy.

Sam is definitely a boy! Not a single doubt in my mind. What a great “Nikon” moment.

Too funny! That is the cutest kitchen! What style/brand is it? Santa brought our girls one that was 38.99 for Christmas.. I wanted to laugh, but then while putting it together, I managed to almost stab a screwdriver through my hand & told my honey that if I turned around and that box with its gazillion pieces said ‘some assembly required’ I was going to throw it outside.. haha (it didnt & I wasn’t laughing at the time). It did however, turn out VERY VERY VERY cute.. but it is not pink!

Sheena · January 10, 2008 at 9:32 pm

Such a cute kitchen! Oh yea that pile of clutter would get to me too and it’s only pretend!!! The fire so does not belong in the kitchen, lol! I’m sure I’m going to have plenty of these pictures when I have my little ones.

TheAngelForever · January 10, 2008 at 9:36 pm

LOL!! Thanks for the laugh and smile, I needed that. :)

I love your camera!

Colleen · January 10, 2008 at 9:38 pm

I love the little kitchen!

Zoe keeps hers looking about the same. I don’t know who taught her to pile pots and dishes in the sink!

zoe · January 10, 2008 at 9:44 pm

Susy-Q · January 11, 2008 at 7:50 am

I love the play kitchen. My friend’s daughter just got the exact same one for Christmas. It is the trendiest kitchen I have ever seen and it is NOT MADE OF PLASTIC! How great is that?

Kait · January 11, 2008 at 7:59 am

I love the little tutu on top of the fridge. What kind of kitchen is that? It’s so cute!

mama k · January 11, 2008 at 8:38 am

haha. That kitchen set is killer!

Jamie · January 11, 2008 at 8:40 am

That is the CUTEST play kitchen ever. Ours is a hand me down (free…yea!) from my boss but it’s one of those plastic monstrosities. But hey…it was free. Those dishes in the sink look very familiar. Hmmm…I should be cleaning right now!

p.s. I came over from An Island Review…mama wants to shop! ;)

that play7 kitchen is so cute, and it looks like my kids after they are done “cookin” too!

Naomi · January 11, 2008 at 9:05 am

I hate to admit it, but Roo’s play kitchen is worse. Like that TV show where people flip abandoned houses. Like a crime scene. Ick.

Kilikina · January 11, 2008 at 9:39 am

oh what i’ve got to look forward to with 2 boys!

Heather · January 11, 2008 at 9:40 am

lace · January 11, 2008 at 11:27 am

Our play kitchen doesn’t have as many dishes in the sink right now because they are scattered throughout the whole house. Some are in the bathroom (she washed them in the tub last night while taking a bath. What a way to multi-task)

That piece of firewood seriously looks like a sculpture in the middle of the kitchen! I say leave it there and claim it to be art!!
