Farm visit post #2:

In addition to whispering to horses

and admiring the cows,

we picked apples (or tried),

and admired the sunflowers.

Even though my macro lense wouldn’t auto-focus (damn!), I took flower photos. My Grandma has a green thumb!

One of my favourites is echinacea,

another is liatris,

then again I am a sucker for red. These begonias were 6 inches across. I love the raindrops.

These pretty sweet-peas were on the kitchen table.

Thanks Grandma for a great afternoon. Have you visited your Grandma lately?

Aw, those are lovely pictures! I love the colors and angles. Love it! I only have one grandma left and sad to say I haven’t visited her lately. =(

Great pictures!! I visited my Grandma a few weeks ago … sadly she is in a rest home so I no longer get to enjoy wandering her amazing gardens or tasting her delicious baking, but I still get to talk with her.

@Hannah, Thanks Hannah! It’s good to hear you are visiting your Grandma :) I remember a couple of years ago, she had a bad infection. I am happy to hear she is OK :)

Hi Kim!

Breath-taking pics (as always) we were at Grandma’s house, just yesterday (it was her birthday) and some of the pics up on my flickr are from “her” backyard!!!

Hugs,

Liz
