The Dangers of Travelling with Mr. MK

Published by on

Sam and Lizzy participated in the Jasper Junior Olympics this weekend (downhill ski event). Their team won gold in the dual slalom event! Woot.

Georgia and I stayed home, for a whole host of reasons: money, logistics, and most of all GEORGIA (ack).

As usual, I waited to take my project 365 photo until late yesterday evening. I have very few pictures of Sam, AND he was clean just out of the tub so I forced asked him to sit down and let me take a couple shots of him.

He was thrilled.

Me: come on Sam-bug smile …

Nothing

Me: remember that time you farted the alphabet?

_KIM9379 copy
There we go, don’t ask me why, but fart-talk always gets a smile out of the XY chromosome set in our house.

Mr. MK: Tell mom about Lizzy’s ASSGAS on the way home.

Me: pardon me?!

_KIM9381 copy
He’s beside himself by this time. ASSGAS … how stinkin’ rude!

Me: OK, that’s enough guys (DAD), time for bed Sam.

goodnight georgia
Sam: goodnight Georgia. Ewww … you must have ASSGAS!

Me to Mr. MK: Look what you’ve started?!

_KIM9399 copy
Georgia: I don’t have ASSGAS! AHHHH!

Sam and Mr. MK: Bwahahaha …

_KIM9398 copy
Georgia: I don’t have ASSGAS! AHHHH!

Sam and Mr. MK: Bwahahaha …

I know Dads are grown men, but really and truly it’s not safe to let them travel with the children on their own … ASSGAS?

Psst … I won’t bother to tell him, about the time I taught them the musical classic:

On top of Old Smokey,
All covered with sand,
I shot my school teacher,
With an old rubber band.

I shot her with pleasure,
I shot her with pride,
For I couldn’t miss her,
She was forty feet wide.

I’m kind of mature like that!

I am so glad it’s not only my husband… ugh.

I keep forgetting that Jasper is a big destination up there. If you ever see any cute tees in a 2T or so, I would love one for my little Jasper. I’ll send you something from the middle of the continent…

hahhaa! i love the pic of sam and georgia together. I thought we were bad yesterday. We went to my uncles bday party and someone got him a card that said “For your bday some people promise the moon” OPEN CARD…”I deliver!” Picture of a plumber with his notorious plumber butt. No my lil’ guy ran around for at least an hour showing everyone the card saying “Look at that PLUMBER BUMMER”..See the cute three year old-ness in that…plumber bummer instead of bum…oh what an outstanding citizen i’m cultivating! all ready for charm school!

In my family, my mom and sister, surprisingly, were always the worst with what we called the bathroom jokes. They never failed to crack up over them.

YES, I am so glad to find a set of parents like us! My son often tells me that I am such a pain in his ass. Why does he say this? Because he heard it from Mommy :)

I did not realize there was another mother as immature as I am! Pleased to know that:)

Hahaha!! Boys just love their toilet humour, don’t they?! Farts (or “bottom burps” as they are called in our house) are the bane of my life. I am forever telling my boys (all 3 of them!) to apologise for farting. I can smell it, somebody did it, somebody is LYING TO ME when they say it wasn’t them … I don’t care if it WAS you, just say “PARDON ME” already!! Ugh! It’s the worst when they come into my office, fart, and then leave. HIDEOUS! I wonder if I’ll ever get used to it?!

Hilarious… I think your husband and mine must be cut from the same mold, he absolutely cracks up when he farts – weren’t we supposed to get over that by, say, eight years old? Guess not! lol. Boys!

You almost had me rolling on the ground! My sister and her husband recently went to Disneyworld with my niece and her family. Their youngest grandchild is 7 and he is a hoot. While driving, Dominid passed gas and just roared with laughter. Then, he asked his mom if
she love him when he farts?! Got to love it,,,,,Cindi
