Posting from my iPhone

In order to make the Nablopomo deadline, I am posting from my iPhone … so forgive my mistakes. The road is bumpy, the keyboard is minute, I am tired. We’ll be calling it quits in Idaho Falls. It’s not too far. We are about 6 hours behind schedule (what else is new right?). We decided to visit a couple of out of the way National Parks. Gorgeous –> pictures to follow later in the week. I’ll be hosting a ‘Guess that Park’ photo contest.

What is your favorite National Park (Canadian or American)?

I’ll be doing my NaBloPoMo thingy all during the holiday. I’ll also be twittering the road trip away –> follow me on twitter @ http://twitter.com/mommyknows.

All comments and back-links for this post will be entered to win a $10 Starbucks Gift Card (includes shipping and handling) in my ‘Have a Coffee on Me’ Contest. If you comment and blog about the contest you’ll receive two entries (too easy). I have a whole ‘schwack’ of Gift Cards to give away, so make sure and come back often for a chance to ‘have a coffee on me’.

My favorite National park is Moab. The red rocks, the arches…so beautiful! The one I know most though is Washington DC Mall. They have some stunning and moving monuments.

I’ve actually been to many national parks so this is a tough question. I love Glacier National Park in Banff. The Badlands in South Dakota are awesome. The Grand Canyon is a given. There are far too many to pick one.

Monument Valley in USA and Banff National park in Canada. There are some amazing parks around the four corners area of the States that I loved visiting as well.

Zion National Park is so beautiful. The Petrified Forest and Carlsbad Caverns are pretty cool too!

Definitely too many to pick from, but if I had to pick a Canadian one real quick, I would say Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. I love Vancouver Island (well the West Coast in general).

Hi, I haven’t been to any state parks in Canada. To be honest, I haven’t been to many in the United States. One of my favorites is Brown Country State Park in Indiana! Cindi

I’ve really only been to a few, but so far it’s a tie between Pacific Rim and Glacier (both in BC).

I like Banff and Jasper too, but when I’ve been there they’ve both been crowded.

I guess Denali National Park in Alaska, although the Grand Canyon,Bryce Canyon and Yellowstone come close. I love the vast beauty, and untouched splendor of our National Parks. I haven’t visited any in Canada that I know of.

thanks for sharing

My favorite national park is the Grand Canyon, I hope some day to be able to take my children there.

At a White House party, a woman approached Calvin Coolidge, famed for his silence, and said “Mr. President, I made a bet I can get more than two words out of you.” He replied: “You lose.” :D
