One by One … Hurrah Hurrah (& the Winner is … )

Published by on

Georgia’s home! Yeah!

The evidence is ALL over the house.

One by One - Hurrah Hurrah

She just loves these schleich animals, which is good because I *heart* them too! Now I have someone to buy them for!

Hmmm … maybe I should stock them in the store?

What is your child’s favorite toy?

***

And the winner of the Bical Grippers is: stepherz. Stepherz, please email me: kim (@) mommyknows (dot) com with your address, the shoe size you’d like and whether they are a boy or a girl :).

Don’t be sad if you didn’t win … I am having another contest! For another pair of Bical Grippers. A bit boring, but I am LAZY (been that way for quite some time … a whole life time in fact). I will draw the winner on Friday, March 21st, 2008 (@ some time). All commenters from now until draw time will be entered to win.

Would you tell a friend? Please? See that little facebook thingy just below this post? That’s a great way to tell your friends!

My 5 year old daughter favorite is pens and paper right now. They just love to draw and draw and then cut and tape.

My 2 year old son has a few that he loves – a fisher-price cash register and his saxoflute (put pieces together to make different musical instruments)

My 3 year old is into puzzles these days. Especially the ones I bought from thebabymarketplace after Christmas.

My 22 month old is obsessed with babies. She absolutely loves her babies and is such a good little Mummy.

Glad that Georgia is home!

my youngest likes to take things apart and rebuild them. He made me nervous when he dismantled the laptop, but he got it back in order.

So cute … look at them all lined up in a row!!!
I bet you are loving having her home again.
When my boys were Georgia’s age, they also loved toy animals and would line them up all over the house.
At the moment, Tyler’s favourite toys are Shrek, Spiderman or Buzz figurines. Ethan is not into toys that much, he likes games & drawing and “making things”.

My son’s favourites right now are books! He is a real bookworm nd my husband and I love books too. I am always scared when I go to Chapters or Indigo bookstore because I am tempted to buy everything he points to. Books are good right? He also enjoys playing with a puzzle box he has. It’s the only puzzle he has so I bought a few new ones from thebabymarketplace. Have you heard of that online store ;-)

My 3 year old son LOVES his Imaginext castle right now. It’s one toy I don’t really mind playing with!

Safire · March 18, 2008 at 7:02 am

Right now, it’s all the gift bags from my shower. They are great things to put toys in, carry around, pretend their boats, castles, rockets, anything!

Well…my sons’s favorite toys are DEFINITELY any sort of pots and pans, spoons, flippers – anything to do with cooking. The only thing his actual toys are good for is for putting INTO the pots and cooking with. haha. And hey…I don’t mind another contest for bical grippers cuz I want some for Tate! ;)

The 3 year olds favorite is puzzles of any kind. She adores the crocodile creek puzzles we won a few months ago. She loves that there is a picture on the front and the back. She also adores her Melissa & Doug barn floor puzzle. Oh and cows of all kind. We have several Schleich cows and calfs and a few others but her favorites by far are the cows. She would love more!

The 17 months favorites are crayons (to eat), rubberbands (to eat), Balls to throw, and babies. She adores babies of all kinds. And staring out the windows saying “Where’s birdies? birdies? BIRDIES! Where are you?”

Wooden blocks are the favorite around here. She is just learning to walk so my husband builds little “towers” around the coffee table and she goes around knocking them down. It’s really fun to watch.

My 3 year olds favorite toy is… hm… probably her markers. My 2 year olds favorite is his Thomas train that you pull backwards and then it rolls forwards. That thing goes everywhere. And my 4.5 month olds favorite toy is probably me. :)

My 20 month old daughter’s favourite toys are, in fact, not toys at all! Anything new that is easily portable for her is a favourite. Yesterday’s favourite was a box!

Lisa · March 18, 2008 at 8:50 am

My son loves his duplos right now. My dd loves her play dough and my youngest wants whatever some one else has:( Not to leave out my older two who love their i pods more than anything else.

Naomi · March 18, 2008 at 10:00 am

Roo and Jasper love the Schleich animals, too. Jasper likes to gnaw on them and Roo likes to line ’em up like Georgia did. Of course, Jasper also likes his hair comb. He’s not too picky, as long as I let him chew on things. I suppose I should invest in some non-toxic teethers one of these days. Roo’s also discovered Barbie. Ugh.

My daughter loves her Weebles right now. She likes to put them in the pocket of her play dome or put them in my husbands baseball cap and drag them around.

katie bowen · March 18, 2008 at 10:45 am

cute animals……we’re keeping our fingers crossed for the bicals!

Heather · March 18, 2008 at 11:10 am

My 2 year old son loves this shoestring wiener dog toy we received as a gift. It’s a wooden wiener dog head attached to a shoestring that you string different shaped wooden (body) pieces onto. Kind-of like a puzzle. He loves it; I think he could play string and unstring it for hours. Unfortunately, he thinks the round shaped (WOODEN) body pieces are balls and throws them…sigh…no toy is perfect…

glittersmama · March 18, 2008 at 11:16 am

Her favorite toy right now is whatever she can find on the computer desk that is typically contraband for her.

Mine for her is her little felt sugar cookies that a friend made for her.

Hmmmmm….I’m not quite sure what the kiddos’ faves are, they seem to change every week…lol! T loves her Nintendo DS (how educational, I know) and Noah, well, his newest love is a light up toothbrush from Dollarama. My kids have a playroom FULL of toys, and these are what they choose. *sigh*

My husband and I were just having a conversation about how we could throw out almost all of the toys and Zoe would still be perfectly happy. Some of her favorite things… rocks, coins, markers, books and blocks. If you’re at our house you should not be surprised to be asked “Wanna play rocks?” And “rocks” simply involves dumping out 2 old film canisters full of tiny rocks that I got years and years and years ago at a museum. Another similar question “Wanna play coins?” Same type of game. We must dump out all of the coins in the piggy bank, look at them all, put them back, repeat. Zoe is just perfectly happy playing with objects around the house. Now me… I may need to buy some of these animals.
