Lay’s® Chip Trips – West Edmonton Mall Water Park

Published by on

One of the best things about having a twenty-one year old daughter is that MY twenty-one year old daughter will load up all her sibling and take them to the West Edmonton Mall World Waterpark on her day off. Thereby, saving her 40+ chubby mother from having to parade around in public in her bathing suit. YES! It’s really that bad :(

When I first signed up to blog about the Lay’s® Chip Trips program the kids poured over the website with me and we went through all the trips we’d like to take. They thought the hot air balloon rides looked very cool, but they weren’t in our budget.

I thought a half price day at the Calgary Zoo looked like loads of fun, but time kept us from making the 300km trip.

However, the ONE trip I promised ‘nomatterwhat’was the WEM World Waterpark, so when September rolled around and we still hadn’t made it there. I recruited the grown-up kid and her boyfriend to keep my promise to the kids and keep me out of swimsuit.

Even these terrible photos taken by my girl’s boyfriend show how much FUN it was (sorry Dave but the pics ARE terrible).

It’s quite the place and VERY affordable when you get half-price admission using Lay’s® Chip Trips! The good news is the Lay’s® Chip Trips program isn’t over until the 31st of December, 2010. There’s lots of time to get in some family fun at great attractions right across Canada.
