I just sent my younger sister an email with a link to this: Blog Post

Sometimes I just crack myself up … hahaha … I just know it’s going to bug her! When will the sibling rivalry stop? Never … she’s thinner (well that’s not technically true she is thin and I am not, I think saying thinner would imply that … I too am thin?), she’s better lookin’ and way more stylin’ than I will ever be, but gosh-dang-it science can’t possibly be wrong, I’m the smarter one!

If you are wondering about yesterday’s quiz – the correct answer was and still is: #4 – granted it is not a true navy, but it’s the closest thing to navy in that group. If you answered the question correctly and live in the Edmonton area (and would like a job in our warehouse) feel free to send me your resume ;) – if not well I *heart* you anyway!

Due to time constraints I am doing the $25 Gift Card thing again! Tomorrow, I have a family picnic at Lizzy’s and Sam’s school and I plan to dig out the camera and take some pictures so I can give away a cool new product (which will be in use at the picnic, weather permitting)!

To be eligible to win the $25 Gift Card leave me a comment AND tell me where you fall in the birth order of your family!(*Editing this –> I guess it would have to be ‘your’ family, like you’d give me your birth order in the neighbors family (so I’m not so smart!))

I’m the one and only. I always wished that I had some brothers and sisters. I thought coming from a huge family would be so much fun. But I guess there are certain benefits to being an only child. I’m a new mom and always thought I’d have 2 or 3 kids. Occassionally now I think about just stopping after 1 because I enjoy my daughter so much and want to give her all my attention.

Cherylyn · June 25, 2007 at 10:28 pm

I’m the oldest!!! My baby brother used to wear a shower cap in school for fun, throw couches off a bridge and has run the ironman with very little training. I don’t need science to tell me I’m smarter!

Lisa · June 25, 2007 at 10:30 pm

I am the baby of the family. I think being the baby ad marrying an oldest child our family is well rounded.

Beth · June 25, 2007 at 11:04 pm

I am the oldest-and the boss of everyone!! :)

Tasha · June 25, 2007 at 11:20 pm

I’m the oldest out of four. Two sisters and my brother is the baby, although you’d never know by looking at him!

Yan · June 25, 2007 at 11:33 pm

I am the second of two kids, I only have an older brother before me, and we are so opposite!

Mary-Jo · June 26, 2007 at 12:17 am

I am the baby and the only girl! (two older brothers)It had it’s advantages growing up for sure!

Richard · June 26, 2007 at 12:25 am

I’m the eldest of 3… and honestly Kim, I thought the names of those freaky little creatures were called “NAVY Sloppies”!

Marcy · June 26, 2007 at 12:31 am

I am the one and only child in my family. My parents were only blessed with being able to have one child.

Now i have 3 children because growing up I always wished to have a big family.

Sarah · June 26, 2007 at 3:38 am

I am the oldest of two – I was just writing an essay for a child development class about my brother and I. When we were growing up we hated each other. We had a few kind and special moments together…I think…but now we get along so well. I think he is super cool and we really enjoying being together. So…who knows.

Can’t wait to see what gets used at the picnic tomorrow!

glittersmama · June 26, 2007 at 4:58 am

I’m the oldest of four girls. My poor dad.

Susanne · June 26, 2007 at 5:58 am

I’m the oldest! I have a younger brother and sister. I wouldn’t trade them for the world. My brother and I are no dummies, but I think he’d agree with me that our baby sister got more than her share of the brains in our family. She’s really smart (yet she’s blonde, and we always laugh at her lack of common sense!). :)

Kait · June 26, 2007 at 6:27 am

I’m the second born. I have an older sister, a younger sister, and a younger brother.

Susy-Q · June 26, 2007 at 6:51 am

I am the youngest of five. Mom got operated not to have any children after my brother (#4) was born, but lo and behold, she miraculously got pregnant again. She was quite upset at the “surprise”. I am grateful that the doctor made some sort of mistake!

Mama K · June 26, 2007 at 7:18 am

I am the oldest. I have one brother who is 25. My dad remarried and I have 3 half-brothers as well (17, 15 and 9).
Everyone always says “You were the princess” when I tell them I’m the only girl. Um not even close.
More like built-in BABYSITTER! LOL
I would really like to have a daughter some day ’cause I never had a sister. Obviously different, but still a relationship I’d love to have.

maddiesmom · June 26, 2007 at 7:23 am

I am the youngest, have an older brother.

Alexia · June 26, 2007 at 7:25 am

I’m the oldest of SIX…fun, fun!

Cheryl · June 26, 2007 at 7:26 am

I’m the second born and the last. My sister was not happy that I was around at all LOL she wouldn’t even talk to my mom for weeks after she came home from the hospital with me!

katie bowen · June 26, 2007 at 7:35 am

hello! before i start i must say we’ve bene getting tons of compliments on the BICAL shoes that we won! I’m sending folks towards your sale. And, I must get a picture of James with the lunchbox…adorable. The CROCODILE CREEK stuff is just too cute!

I’m the oldest of two…there are 5 years between my brother and I and it has been wonderful. We are best friends and have never really fought (just twice!). I guess that’s because he has just let me boss him around and put up with me! He is an amazing athelete and I feel so lucky!

I think it would be nice to add to our family someday so that our son can have the “sibling” experience…all of that good and bad!

Julie · June 26, 2007 at 8:03 am

I’m the first born of two and it’s great because my mum always worries about my younger brother, which takes a bit of the pressure off of me.

Lucy · June 26, 2007 at 8:06 am

I am the oldest of three girls, and boy do we all fall into all the birth order sterotypes. I am the responsible, bossy one. My middle sister is always after attention, and the youngest is the rebel. Craziness.

Naomi · June 26, 2007 at 9:26 am

I’m an only child, so that makes me all or nothing I guess!

Lesha Anderson · June 26, 2007 at 9:34 am

I’m the baby of the family.

Sarai · June 26, 2007 at 9:52 am

I am the baby – youngest of 3. Have you ever read The Birth Order Book by Dr Kevin Leman? Fascinating book!

Priya · June 26, 2007 at 9:54 am

I am the second child of 3 & the only girl.I would love having 3 children but my high risk pregnancies are totally restricting me & we ve managed to have one little girl who is 9 months as of yesterday. I had a lot of sibling rivalry with my elder brother & being the dominating character that he is my bro totally bossed me around.Guess, I got no points for being the only girl.I definitely want my baby to ve brthers & sisters coz thats what life is all aout.Hope u r getting better kim for ue hike.

Sharesa · June 26, 2007 at 9:55 am

I am the second child.

Deanne S. · June 26, 2007 at 10:01 am

I am the youngest of four, it was a busy house – very nice as there was always someone to play with even with all the fighting….

I have 3, and just can’t do another – I’m so busy I can’t even imagine another one in the mix!

Diane · June 26, 2007 at 10:58 am

I am the middle daughter of three girls… and I totally have a complex about it! I would have three though but if they were all same sex I would probably go for a fourth! Am I totally crazy?

Lacey · June 26, 2007 at 11:22 am

I am the second born, middle child between two brothers and the only girl.

Heather · June 26, 2007 at 11:56 am

I’m the oldest of 2 brothers, only one of whom is still living. My brother and I get along so well now that we are grown up. I hope it turns out that way for my kids too. (My oldest loves to fight with the younger 3!)

Carol · June 26, 2007 at 12:17 pm

I am the second born of 3. My older sister died when she was 2 and I was 1 so I grew up as the oldest child.

Pam · June 26, 2007 at 1:17 pm

I’m the youngest, the “baby” as my mother always reminds me… This weekend my mother muttered something about me being such a handful as a baby (quite active and curious apparently) that I was therefore going to be the last….. and I thought they were just so happy with me that they didn’t go for more kids!

artsweet · June 26, 2007 at 1:32 pm

I’m the only… and I wish I weren’t!

Our boy is going to have siblings, by hook or by crook!

Daisymom · June 26, 2007 at 1:33 pm

I’m the oldest and only girl

Courtney · June 26, 2007 at 2:13 pm

I’m the youngest of 2. Even though my brother is 4 years older than me, I caught up in height, and people used to think we were twins OR dating! Didn’t he HATE that…. He never did like to walk around the mall with me.

Jessica · June 26, 2007 at 2:46 pm

I’m the oldest of three (two younger brothers). I married a middle child of three (all boys). Always wanted a sister. Sigh :-)

Damselfly · June 26, 2007 at 3:28 pm

Where am I in birth order in my family? Oh, that’s a toughie. I come from a blended family. I’m my dad’s sixth child, but second girl. I’m my mom’s second child and second girl. I grew up as the youngest for several years, then my brother was born and I was thrown into the middle. (I hate being in the middle.) When I visited my dad and stepmom, I was an only child at their house — until I was 10 and another brother came along. Over there, then, I was the oldest. So basically, I have been everything — youngest, only, middle and oldest!

Kilikina · June 26, 2007 at 4:01 pm

Enter me in for the gift card please.

I am the oldest of 2 children.

Ann · June 26, 2007 at 4:27 pm

I’m the last of six. Pretty hectic when we were growing up.

Karyne · June 26, 2007 at 6:48 pm

I’m the oldest of 3 (I have two brothers). I always wished to have a sister. Now I have two sisters-in-law and I can tell they are like my sisters. Lucky me!

laura · June 26, 2007 at 8:31 pm

I’m the oldest of two … my sister is just shy of four years younger. When I was little, I kind of wanted an older brother, but both of my parents had older brothers and told me that they were over-rated :)

Nikki · June 26, 2007 at 8:49 pm

I’m the oldest of three. My mom had two girls and then a boy. Now, I have two girls and am pregnant with a boy!!

hmama · June 26, 2007 at 9:26 pm

I’m the youngest of 5 kids. My oldest sibling is 22 years older than me! Same parents. My parents had grandchildren before I was born. Can anyone say accident!?!

Andrea · June 26, 2007 at 9:34 pm

I’m the oldest of two kids, and I’m definitely the outgoing, troublemakin’ one! my bro was SOOO good! :) But not me! But I’m better behaved now! hehe :)

Kami · June 26, 2007 at 9:45 pm

I am the younger of two, I have an older brother. We had a love/hate thing going on typical of siblings. Now we get along great….it helps that we live in different cities ;-)

pinks & blues girls · June 26, 2007 at 10:05 pm

I’m the youngest of four – two boys and two girls. So I have always been taken care of, especially by my big sis. She’s the best! Even after having 3 kids, she looks better in a pair of jeans than me… but I love her so much that I don’t mind! :)
