Sigh, I totally understand the heading of miserable monday – we are all sick, our 2 yr old is teething 2 yr molars, it is hot out, and grandma just left, leaving said 2 yr old grumpy.

I hate Mondays too. I hate to see my husband go to work. I like having him around on weekends and then Monday comes along and..sniff…sniff..

Today totally sucked. My 7 month old thought it was very important to scream at the top of her lungs everytime I put her down… or thought of putting her down… or thought of thinking of putting her down.

I woke up at 6 am to the sounds of a 2 year old in her crib. When I dragged my sorry butt out of bed to fetch her highness, she decided that only Daddy would do, and told me, “no Mommy. Daddy.” Too bad Daddy had such a rough night and needed an extra few minutes. So I threw a couple of books in there with her which bought me a whopping 10 minutes before she decided that I would do just fine in getting her some breakfast. Ugh.

Do you wish you were an orphan? as in no family from you up.. or you wish you were a hermit.. :) Sometimes, I think hermits have it made..but only for a second, then my baby wants another kiss!

Today my OB told me we will be inducing on Thursday. My mom is in Hawaii. She made her plans knowing that my due date was her return date. I told her it was risky. She still thinks it’s somehow my fault that the baby will be born without her here…
Umm, yeah, sometimes I wish I was an orphan! Better than an only child at times like these!

Suffering in the heat in southern Alberta with my 5 month old and 5 year old. In fact, I think they are handling it better than I am!

I’m 3 weeks into a brand new part time job.. Kids stay home w/their dad while I work. My 17 mos. old sweet baby girl now ONLY says Ma ma when it’s Mwaaaah, Mawaaaaah as I’m leaving for work.. and then she repays my absence by markedly ignoring me and preferring her dad when I DO get home. Except for when I’m cooking dinner, then, and only then,will ONLY I do! Yup, it’s been a miserable Monday here too!! Hope tomorrow is better!

Potty training.
Withholding.
Why not choose the only area rug in the house to pee on – the wood floor would be far to easy to clean up mommy!!
Wish potty training only took one Monday.

my baby actually napped today for 2 hours after a horrible last week of growth spurt, I too napped for an hour so it wasnt as bad . Hope u have a good week, overall they say if monday isnt too good the rest of the week turns out well :o)

Aww, I hope your day gets better. Ours isn’t so great either, we decided to wean my 10 1/2 month old from one of her two night feeds and she’s really protesting it. I’m sure our whole neighbourhood heard her at three this morning. And I ended up feeding her after 1 1/2 hours of listening to her whine just so we could all get some more sleep in the end…she doesn’t need to eat them just wants to wake mommy and daddy up and keep ’em up.
