I Really Hate to Brag … Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes per Day. Easy Recipe DIY

Published by on

I really hate to brag, but I am going to anyway!

my bread baking fetish

I baked this bread. ME!

It smells and tastes as good as it looks. I may never buy another loaf of bread!

Who knew it was so easy?! Not I. I thought it required some special talent, or maybe a special bread baking gene. That’s not the case, any old idiot can do it (see proof above). It’s EASY, FAST!

DO NOT tell Mr. MK, he thinks I am Betty-Freakin’-Crocker. It’s a lucrative arrangement!

You too can fool your husbands into submission, using: Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day. Many thanks to JennB for pointing me in the right direction.

Note to the ‘Blog Integrity Police’: This is NOT an advertisement. I bought this book. I like this book. This is MY opinion.

‘blog integrity police’ bwhahaha. sheesh.

glad it worked out for you! I use the book ALL THE TIME. at a minimum, 1x/week, but usually more. :) I HATE kneading. I also hate spending half the day waiting for bread. but i love to bake, even though right now i’m eating zero of my efforts due to gluten…for whatever reason i still enjoy baking it for the family! Guess that makes me certifiable.

I’ve heard rave reviews about this book from my best friend. Now that you’ve raved as well (I like to have two raves before I buy something) I can get it. I love to make bread so off to amazon I go…

Brag girl!!! I borrowed this book from the library and it is now on my list to own. Wasn’t it crazy how easy it all was??? I can’t wait to try some of the recipes that were in the back… I think there was one with pumpkin. Anyhoo… yes it looks very inviting!!!

Luckily for me, I don’t like bread, although if it’s really easy to make, I wouldn’t mind trying to make it. My downfall is butter. The only reason I ever have bread is to put butter on it. However, butter can go on so many things, I don’t have to have bread :)

GO YOU!! It looks delicious!
I have only tried to bake bread once, and the yeast I had was OLD. Needless to say, it didn’t work. I really must get some new yeast and try again. You have inspired me!

You know what?! It really looks delicious. If I only know how to bake a bread like that then I will never buy another loaf. Thank you for sharing this to us.:) Nice!

Wow! You’ve been a busy girl since I last stopped by here. I had another bloggy friend that mentioned this same book and said she made some amazing bread but I’ve always been such a failure at anything that contains yeast, so I’m afraid to try anymore. *sigh*

Maybe I’ll have to give it one more shot.

I love that bread book. You should try the challah bread next. It’s wonderful.

I’d like to reach through my screen and grab a bite of that bread. It’s great looking. I’ll have to buy some more yeast and get some bread going too.
