Home Sweet Home

Published by on

We finally made it home, about 2 a.m. I missed the hotel breakfast this morning! One of my favorite things about holidays is, no cooking. I just can’t get excited about food prep (not that I try).

I had to take my ‘bad’ drug last night. I am taking two types, one by injection daily with minimal side effects and a second weekly by injection (last night was the night) and it takes it’s toll. I had a terrible night and lazy, sleepy day. Chills, aches and flu like symptoms all day.

If I weren’t doing the Nablopomo thing, today would be the day I’d skip posting. I know you didn’t come over here to hear me whine though. Right?

I’ve been going downloading and sorting the holiday pics.

Getting a Libby Du
This is one of my favorites (so far) –> it is Lizzy being getting her ‘Libby Du’ at the LibbyLu shop in Downtown Disney. There are loads more to go through.

I am not sure if I like the Libby Lu idea or not. Then again, it might just be because I would have rather poked myself in the eye with a sharp stick, than had a ‘Princess Makeover’ at the same age. BLECH! I did love how much she enjoyed herself though. You could tell that she felt beautiful all day.

I hope you post a picture of the finished make-over. I think it’s great that Lizzie got to do this….probably something she will always remember.

Ahhh…girl stuff…as a mom of two boys I’m still holding out for a little girl to do this stuff with. Can’t wait to see the finished look.

Welcome home! Sorry I haven’t been able to comment on all your holiday posts, but I have been reading. I’m glad you all had a good time.
Sorry about the “bad drug”, I hope any side effects don’t hang around for too long, and you reap the benefits of it quickly.

Huh, I didn’t know Libby Lu was a Disney thing – part of the Disney family? Interesting – I am with on it though. I am not sure what to think – thank goodness I have boys! But my best friends both have girls, and one (age 4) has already gone to a party there. She looked beautiful, but again, I am so unsure about the message. She had fun, and I guess that is the point! Do we get a after shot?

I’ve never seen hair like that, unless it was on a runway. On tv.

I agree – I was the type of girl that would rather spend a day at Spring Training in Tampa than having a Princess makeover. BTW – What’s Libby Lu? Is it one of those things that, as a mom of 2 girls, is just lurking around the corner for us? I
