I am thankful today for my home, my family and my health. You’re probably thinking … your health? Weren’t you paralyzed and diagnosed with MS earlier this year? And I’d say, “YEP, but I’m NOT dead and anything NOT dead feels pretty darn good”.

Definitely better then dead. Beautiful photo.

Right now I am grateful for a little rain. Love how it smells and makes everything seem new.

I guess I missed your diagnosis of MS. My mom has MS and it has been a difficult disease to cope with. She would recommend getting on one of the ABC drugs as soon as possible and sticking with them. She was not able to right away and regrets it.

On a happier note. I love the picture of the barn. You get such great photos.

naomi · October 13, 2008 at 9:10 am

that barn is GORGEOUS. Happy Thanksgiving! I wish we had some feasting planned for today…

I am thankful that we are all healthy. That we at the very least got to spend the gorgeous summer in this gorgeous place, and I am thankful in advance that the Lord will provide us with a new place to live.

Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving to you as well! Great photo…was there any touching to it, or did it come out like that? If so, perfect f stop control and framing. The blue sky could use maybe a tad bit more saturation and white balance, but otherwise – great shot!

It was an amazing weekend here for Thanksgiving with temperatures up in the mid-20’s (in October! unreal). We are thankful for family this year as everyone is really coming together and happy and healthy. Last year we had an ambulance at our Thanksgiving dinner as we had a big scare with Grandma but this year, no ambulance… that’s something to be thankful for!!!

You don’t have to enter me in the contest; I just wanted to say that your post really moved me! Here I was feeling grumpy and now, instead, I’m thinking how thankful I am for my family. Thank you!

(Also, I’m sorry to hear about your diagnosis, and I think your attitude is incredible. Sending you healing vibes and a hug.)

I am thankful that I have peace in my life. I do not worry about day-to-day expenses (although sometimes I probably should), nor do I worry about the future. Someone is taking care of everything. :)
