Food Styling @ the Kraft Kitchens #deliciousbyte

My Pie

Now that I am home and forced to eat my own cooking again, I wish I would have eaten more at the Kraft Kitchens yesterday. Just one more Delicious Byte.

Credit for photo and pie goes to Kraft. The nifty pie accessorizing (food styling) by Mommyknows (the cool whip with candied ginger, nutmeg and candied pecans, didn’t get there on it’s own you know!)

You all know how much I love to take photos, so I especially enjoyed this session. Who knew you could dress up a piece of pie so quickly and easily!

More to come … (in the meantime read this post from And Twins make 5! or this one from Tablefor5)

I’m not a big pie eater, unless it’s chocolate cream with oreo crust, but this would definitely be worth trying!

Looks delicious!

Gloria Bednarz · November 18, 2010 at 9:00 am

Hard to tell what flavor this pie is from the photo but that hardly matters it looks so good and we always eat with our eyes first!

I’ve heard that they often use whipped potatoes in place of whipped cream on sets because the whipped cream will melt. Just curious …

Oh and on that note, I thought I’d share a great Aprils Fools Day joke I played on my family. I packed meatloaf into muffin tins and then “frosted” it with mashed potatoes, then left them on a plate on the counter. Lots of surprised faces when they took that first bite!
