It’s not easy being a 2 year old diva!

Georgia Diva 3
Getting your make-up just right takes years of practice.

Georgia Diva 2
Daddy, does this shade of eye shadow make my cheeks look fat?

Georgia Diva 1
No Daddy, I won’t put Mommy’s makeup away, it’s my make-up now!

Note: prior to make-up application (consists of putting eye shadow brush in mascara and applying it to limbs and face) Georgia stuck her head under the tap, which accounts for the wet hair look.

Good thing I can work through LOTS of noise, silence means trouble around here. Just before being caught in the act her dad commented on the silence coming from Georgia’s direction. NOISE. IS. GOOD.

To be the next winner (or maybe even win again), you need only leave a comment.

haha…those are adorable pictures!! And yes, I TOTALLY AGREE….Noise is SOOOOO good! :)

Ness · August 12, 2007 at 9:55 pm

You always know there is trouble when there is silence. But isn’t it cute when they fall asleep doing something wrong too.

Angella · August 12, 2007 at 10:01 pm

Noise IS good! Don’t I know it :)

She’s a doll, per usual!

corey · August 12, 2007 at 10:15 pm

oh my…love the pics….check the tude! tee hee

Michelle · August 12, 2007 at 11:11 pm

I can always tell when my littlest is getting into trouble as he either will get really quiet or scrunch his neck down and hunch his shoulders as he goes off to do something bad.

Kathryn · August 12, 2007 at 11:28 pm

I wish we were closer. Georgia and Kayleigh would be pals! Kayleigh’s quite the diva herself. Oh wait.. maybe that WOULDN”T work out so well.
LOVE the pics. and I LOVE her hair!!

Bree · August 13, 2007 at 12:42 am

How precious! She is so expressive!

laura · August 13, 2007 at 12:58 am

I’m lucky that if I tell M to close her eyes, and merely touch her closed eyelids with my closed tube of mascara, she think that she’s wearing some :)

Richard · August 13, 2007 at 4:59 am

Haven’t posted in a while… on vacation… hi Kim! :)

Marla · August 13, 2007 at 5:26 am

Just wait until she gets into scissors and cuts her hair…all of mine have done that to themselves or each other at some point!

Carey · August 13, 2007 at 5:29 am

Oh shes so cute! Noise is a good thing.

Safire · August 13, 2007 at 6:30 am

So cute! Love the faces. :)

Mama K · August 13, 2007 at 7:22 am

She looks like a handful. But a completely adorable handful of course! :)

Alexia · August 13, 2007 at 7:22 am

I agree, noise is good. I’ve often found myself typing away on the computer and realize, “uh-oh, it’s quiet!” I generally find my darling 1-year-old in the dogs food and water.

Pinks & Blues · August 13, 2007 at 7:26 am

OMG! I love that photo! Love it!! With my 3 boys… there is no make-up… maybe we’ll get some make-up when we have a 4th… but let me live through this photo!! Too cute. Was that your brush?? And did you re-use it?? LOL

I love how the brush is almost up her nose in the first one! Too cute!

Christina · August 13, 2007 at 7:58 am

I love her curls!

Lisa · August 13, 2007 at 8:13 am

So cute. We have that rule in our house too. Noise is good quiet means RUN trouble is happening somewhere.

Jamie · August 13, 2007 at 8:18 am

Ah yes, when there is no noise we worry. We’re generally too lazy to do anything about it, but we worry nonetheless.

jw4mkc · August 13, 2007 at 8:29 am

Absolutely agreed!! Noise IS very good! If Harlie is quiet..I take off running..although she has found it VERY funny lately to get into my bed and lay back with the covers up under her arms and a bottle.. It is SO cute, but tiring, because I am going back and forth every 3 minutes to make sure that she hasn’t gotten down and destroyed something.

Mimi · August 13, 2007 at 8:31 am

It’s a gorgeous morning here in Ottawa… hope you have a GREAT one ;-)

Cherylyn · August 13, 2007 at 8:42 am

TOOO funny! Hope your day is filled with sunshine and not too much mascara!

lace · August 13, 2007 at 8:52 am

My niece is very much into makeup and nail polish right now. She believes she is wearing makeup if I give her a clean blush brush and she rubs it on her face. Although, now she has been requesting eyeshadow.

Priya · August 13, 2007 at 9:20 am

WOW she really is a diva :o)

Priya · August 13, 2007 at 9:23 am

cant wait for my babe to start doing that, priceless memories :o)

Karyne · August 13, 2007 at 9:40 am

Cute pictures as usual!

Charlotte · August 13, 2007 at 9:48 am

Thank goodness I have a boy :)

PamW · August 13, 2007 at 9:49 am

She’s adorable. And I totally agree that silence is bad, with kids of any age!

glittersmama · August 13, 2007 at 10:15 am

What a cutie. I love those pictures.

Diane · August 13, 2007 at 10:55 am

My favorite picture of my two oldest nephews is in the bath after an intense make up play session. All kids enjoy imitating mommy!! (Or daddy?)

Naomi · August 13, 2007 at 10:56 am

Why are girls naturally drawn to makeup? Will my son do that, too?

Teresa · August 13, 2007 at 11:25 am

I am right there with you!! I have two little diva’s myself and you are correct, Noise is good!!! :) Cute pictures though, that will be a funny memory some day. :)

Susy-Q · August 13, 2007 at 11:46 am

Silence = something bad is happening. Definitely the rule at our place and our little one is only 1 years old.

Cathy · August 13, 2007 at 12:21 pm

Hilarious!!!

Heather · August 13, 2007 at 1:33 pm

Love the look on her face in the last picture!

You’re right about silence-always means trouble!!!

Jaime Stephens · August 13, 2007 at 1:41 pm

How cute is that? I cannot believe how light her hair is :-D My 2.5 year old thinks that Georgia’s makeup is gorgeous… hopefully she hasn’t gotten any ideas!

Deanne S. · August 13, 2007 at 1:44 pm

Very cute pictures. Your posts make my life feel a little more normal……

Yan · August 13, 2007 at 2:58 pm

Oh, she is adorable !!

Mrs. Pear · August 13, 2007 at 2:58 pm

Oh! This is too much! Definitely a diva in training!

Laura · August 13, 2007 at 3:48 pm

Yes, I too have developed a sort of spidey-sense that will alert me when I need to check on the kids. Factors that set off the alarm are lack of noise, time since last noise was heard, and location children were last seen.

There was the time my oldest took a Sharpie to the twins’ face and hands.

There was the ‘diaper cream incident’ — similar to the Sharpie incident, only the wall, bedding and mattress in my sons’ room was also targeted… as was a very expensive tube of Burt’s Bee Diaper Ointment.

Then there was 3 days ago when I went to the basement to put the clothes in the dryer, and went I got upstairs, my oldest had opened the FRONT door (we live on a major highway) and no one was inside the house. [Insert panic here.] Fortunately they were drawn to the open garage door and everyone was climbing onto Daddy’s lawn tractor, instead of sitting in the middle of the road, waiting to be made into baby pancakes.

Damselfly · August 13, 2007 at 4:20 pm

Well, I think she looks great!

Paige · August 13, 2007 at 4:54 pm

She is so stinkin cute!

Montserrat · August 13, 2007 at 5:03 pm

Yes, noise is very good. What I want to know is where she learned her application technique from, you or Hayley? :D

Ness · August 13, 2007 at 8:22 pm

Anything from Hayley yet?

alison · August 13, 2007 at 8:45 pm

What a cutie! I love her little pout.

Kilikina · August 13, 2007 at 9:02 pm

Your daughter is simply beautiful. Look at the blonde hair and blue eyes. -Sorry i haven’t been reading/commeting the last week. I’m usually a regular reader but I’ve had a very busy week.

Mefeng · August 13, 2007 at 9:51 pm

Georgia is such an adorable diva!!

Safire · August 14, 2007 at 6:02 am

So cute! Had to come back to show my daughter…makeup picture! Makeup picture!

Joa · August 14, 2007 at 10:37 am

Elle est adorable! Et ce petit air boudeur est à croquer!

Deb · August 14, 2007 at 12:07 pm

What a darling! Won’t be showing my daughters the pics – they’re obsessed with makeup!

Dana · August 14, 2007 at 12:35 pm

Love it!

Michelle · August 14, 2007 at 5:06 pm

Oh, goodness. Hysterical. Yes, silence, unless accompanied by deep sleep, is rarely a good thing.

Jamie · August 14, 2007 at 7:23 pm

Hey, it’s interesting that she was putting makeup UP her nose… is there something you want to tell us? ;D Is this a new trend?

lace · August 14, 2007 at 8:19 pm

my friend experienced the silence not too long ago. She went to investigate and found her daughter had cut a lot of her hair off. The scissors went in the trash. The next bout of silence, she found her with nail polish all over her feet and hands with lipstick all over her face. All of those items went up as well
