***Comments turned off***

We have a winner: Post #33 – Katie

I’m giving away something FREE every day in May (May 8th – May 31st) – the days that are left in May.

Why? I have lots of cool stuff that I want to share (oh PULEEZ!). That was the politically correct answer, the real answer is more like this – I want you to comment!

So all you have to do to win each day’s prize is leave a comment.

Comment should include: Why you’d like to win! Make sure you fill out your email address when posting so I can contact you for your shipping info.

I will ship your prize ANYWHERE world wide. As long as there is postal service, I will ship to you. If the prize isn’t perfect for your child, I will ship it to another child ANYWHERE (your choice).

There will be no prize substitutions.

Each comment is numbered and we will hold an old fashioned nightly drawing and the comment that matches the number drawn will be the winner. The winner will be posted each night/early next day and I will also contact the winner by email for shipping details.

Drum Roll Please!

Our first PRIZE is: Rainbow Stripes BabyLegs

I would love them and since I was going to order some from you anyhow, I can have the free pair and buy more things from you! I spent an ungodly amount of time on your site last week.

I will spread the word of your lovelieness on my site. Should I become an affiliate?

OK, and babylegs are just so cool I feel like a defective mom for not having any.

kim · May 8, 2007 at 9:32 am

Hey jenB,

Affiliate thing is a good idea :)

I will cross my fingers for you, Charlotte would be too cute in these!

My daughter is 20 months old and would look absolutely adorable in the rainbow BabyLegs. She’s a sunny little firecracker and they would match her personality to a ‘T’.

I’m hopping over now to check out your store site.

BTW….Jen sent me over from her site. ‘Thanks Jen!’

Dee Dee · May 8, 2007 at 5:26 pm

These would look so stylish on my daughter.

Lucy · May 8, 2007 at 6:59 pm

I have really been wanting some of these, so free is even better!

by the way, I am here via JenB

leslie · May 8, 2007 at 8:15 pm

…it’s cottage time again, and these babylegs would be just the thing for cool spring nights and mornings for a certain year-and-a-half boyo…

kerflop · May 8, 2007 at 9:22 pm

How did I not know you were blogging, Kim? Found ya via Jenandtonic. Spammed your giveaway in my sideblog. I never win ANYTHING, ever. But here’s hoping ;)

kim · May 8, 2007 at 9:31 pm

Hey Kerflop,

I am a lurker! Thanks for the post! X’ing my toes for you (fingers crossed for jenB). Katie would be cute, cute, cute in these. BUT, there is lots of cute stuff yet to come!

Laurie · May 8, 2007 at 10:16 pm

Hi! This is the first time I’ve visited your website. I am pregnant with my first child and would love to win these. Thanks!

nikkapotamus · May 8, 2007 at 10:31 pm

Thanks to Kerflop, I found your lovely little site. How cute! I can’t wait to go shopping now.

On to the rainbow baby legs. Those are soooo adorable! They would be fabulous for my nearly 2 year old because she is currently in the “no clothes” stage. Nothing stays on her. Except her socks. She refuses to remove her socks. So perhaps with bright rainbow leg warmers, she will not remove those either and I can assure that at least her legs will be warm while the rest of her runs naked through the house (what a picture that conjure up!)

Thanks for the freebies!

Daisymom · May 8, 2007 at 10:39 pm

Oooh – I want to win them! My 9 month old daughter would be so cute in these and I’ve been trying to decide if I should buy them. I have all these cute dresses that I want her to start wearing and these would protect her little knees when she crawls and keep her warm if it suddenly gets colder.

Heather K · May 8, 2007 at 10:46 pm

What a fun contest! Babylegs rock and my wild and crazy 1 yo definitely needs them for the playground days ahead where she seemingly spends more time in the dirt than actually climbing. ;-)

Jen the Mom · May 8, 2007 at 10:49 pm

No WAY!!!

Baby legs!!!

I’m so excited I could almost pee myself but I’ll try to hold it in until I’ve finished begging, I mean commenting. I need these Baby Legs to keep myself from giving my seven year old to tell his friends.

“Hey, guess what? My mom was sitting on the computer and saw a rainbow and then she peed her pants! It was SO funny. Look I have pictures!”

Sadly, I have taught my son how to use a camera. It will be downfall, I know. So, to cheer me up in my embarrassment…

I need Baby Legs.

Ashley · May 8, 2007 at 10:54 pm

Because my sister really has no control over what I dress her kids in when she’s away …

Sue · May 8, 2007 at 11:10 pm

I’d love these. I have a Canadian nephew on the way, and would love to send these on to warm him up this coming winter.

Robyn · May 8, 2007 at 11:58 pm

I love baby legs!! *little chubby baby legs* I need to add to our collection – we don’t have rainbows yet. Thanks for giving away free stuff!

Andrée-Anne · May 9, 2007 at 12:06 am

I am two months away from giving birth to my second child, a little sister for my Émil (13 months old now), and I just started shopping for girly stuff (pink pink pink! and a bit of purple on the side!). I would LOVE to win the BabyLegs, they are exactly the ones I had in mind! Sabrièle would look like an angel in them, and she would be warm with the little dresses I will find her too! Much more practical than tights… especially for changing diapers! Well, back to shopping now! Thanks for the amazing products at thebabymarketplace.com!

Andréane · May 9, 2007 at 12:31 am

Bonjour!
I am one, two… days or weeks frome giving birth to my second child. My 2 years old little boy will have a sister!

As I hate tights for myself, I will try to not use it for my girl… I found that the babylegs look so cute and I will be so happy to try them SOONNNNNNN :)

jhlefty · May 9, 2007 at 12:41 am

Sylvie (21 months old) is ready for potty training and I’ve been coveting a pair of babylegs! They look perfect for letting her run around without diapers when it’s not warm enough (we live on the coast) to go without pants…

Rita Silauri · May 9, 2007 at 12:42 am

Love babylegs! Although my husband calls them legwarmers and refuses to let me son wear them. Hope I win!

Shauna · May 9, 2007 at 12:47 am

I bought my 2-year old daughter her first pair of babylegs last month and she LOVES THEM!! She wants to wear them all the time, but most of the time they’re in the dirty laundry. So another pair would really help us out! Winning the rainbows would be very exciting, but if I don’t win, I’ll definitely be ordering another pair. Thanks for the great offer, Kim!!

karen · May 9, 2007 at 12:59 am

thanks to jenb, I found your site, so I’m rooting for her and me. this maine weather practically requires babylegs for my baby’s little chubby legs. The stretch will help cover her little rolls!

Katie · May 9, 2007 at 1:04 am

I also came over from Kerflop. If she says “click”, I click!

I would love these because I have (or had?) toe socks in the same pattern! I have two boys, one of whom loves rainbows, and I am expecting a third baby. We might do a little EC’ing, which these would be great for!

sarah · May 9, 2007 at 1:06 am

My ds would love these for his “naked” days. Please pick us.

Naomi · May 9, 2007 at 1:10 am

My three year old daughter has a couple of pairs of BabyLegs but since her brother will be joining us in late July, it would be nice to have some less pink ones for him to wear…

Nenni · May 9, 2007 at 1:12 am

Why I would like to win? Because BabyLegs are fantastic! And I don’t have this color! :o)

Suzanne · May 9, 2007 at 1:23 am

I have been wanting to try these, is rainbo manly enough? Oh well he’ll probbly wear them around me anyways, and I put pink diapers on him for goodness sakes. Rainbows it is.

Mireille · May 9, 2007 at 1:23 am

My lil’ 11 months old blond girl with blue eyes is ready to try the BabyLegs…

Thanks for the great offer!

Pam · May 9, 2007 at 1:25 am

I would love these babyleg! With a baby free things are always great, especially useful free things. Even more than especially (is “especially especially” grammatically correct? Because that’ what I’m going for here) NICE useful free things are great. These rainbow babylegs would look absolutely stunning on my daughter as she is the world’s most gorgeous child (as is everyone else’s child) and is now crawling and I’m sure would like something to protect her little legs and knees as she explores our house. We’ve been wanting Babylegs for awhile but there always seem to be other things we need to buy instead (like a new wall for our basement after it flooded). Pretty please?

Jenny T · May 9, 2007 at 1:58 am

Why would I like to win these adorable pair of Babylegs?? Well, free stuff is always great, and my 3 year old daughter is very ‘into’ fashion these days, and I would love to see the outfits that she puts together with these.
Thanks for keeping such a great site. We love shopping there!!

Yan · May 9, 2007 at 2:15 am

What a cheerful babyleg !! Thanks for the great offer.

Clare · May 9, 2007 at 2:18 am

I LOVE babylegs and so does my daughter. We (she) currently has one pair that were given to her as a gift. The rainbow ones are SO cute and would perfectly match a little cardigan she got on Salt Spring!
Babylegs are so handy, I wish I had a pair to match all her outfits! With babylegs I can dress her in dresses more often and they sure help with potty-training!
I love your website and spend too much money there ;)

Deborah · May 9, 2007 at 3:07 am

I was just thinking about babylegs today…when I packed up my daughters and brought them to the park and my baby’s legs were cooling in the breeze…

Two weeks ago my little one was born – my third girl…and so I’ve decided that she needs to have a pair of these babylegs….perhaps as a baby gift…?

Aunt Amy · May 9, 2007 at 3:46 am

I’m looking for the perfect gift to celebrate my daughter’s “Gotcha Day.” We met her in on June 6th 2005, drenched in sweat in a non air-conditioned hotel in southern China while she screamed and we bawled. Nothing says I love you like babylegs.

Katie · May 9, 2007 at 4:33 am

I need these BabyLegs because I have a broken heart. My 4 year old son told me he doesn’t love me anymore. BabyLegs would mend my heart. His little brother would look cute in them, and I love mail. Especially mail that is free. So, if you have any compassion in your heart, send those puppies my way!

maricar · May 9, 2007 at 5:10 am

Oooh me! I think that would be adorable on my new little bundle of joy, Jenna. :)

katie bowen · May 9, 2007 at 5:25 am

what a great product! i’ve never seen anything like it for babies! this would be great for my lil’ bruiser! should help on the wood floors too!

Jennifer Walker · May 9, 2007 at 5:33 am

I loved leg warmers in the 80s and would love a pair of these for my 15 month old!

Devon · May 8, 2007 at 6:15 pm

I am launching my photography business and website and these beauties would come in handy on my next photo shoot, of a big sister and her new baby sister!
I also love freebies and LOVE to give my clients a little something extra… a cross promotional photo of an adorable client in these would be AMAZING!
YEAH!

Christine L. · May 8, 2007 at 7:06 pm

I just got my first pair of Babylegs for my daughter (from your store, of course!!) and we love them. The rainbow pair would be very stylin’!
(Kim, I love reading your blog…. I’ve been real bad at leaving comments, however…)

Janice · May 8, 2007 at 7:30 pm

Cool – I’ve been wanting to get a pair for my son. We have major pant leg gaposis around here. Okay, I really want to knit him a pair, but goodness knows he won’t need them when he’s sixteen and I finally get around to it! Yeah rainbows.

glittersmama · May 8, 2007 at 7:42 pm

I love love love baby legs. My baby girl would look adorable in those AND today is my 30th birthday!

Desi · May 8, 2007 at 7:47 pm

Right now, my two daughters (1 and 3) “share” one pair of baby legs… we would love to have another pair so they could wear them simultaneously :-) I love them – they are so cute – and practical, too. Plus, it allows us to show off our cute cloth diapers. Anyway, happy blogging – I got the link from Kerflop :-)

Jennifer Bogart · May 8, 2007 at 7:52 pm

I have a 4 year old, and a 13 month old, and they both love to wear dresses, but my littlest is still crawling and is so rough on her legs! And her pants always ride up! We’d love to try them!

Ellen · May 8, 2007 at 8:31 pm

So that I can replicate this scene, http://www.flickr.com/photos/sophialandrum/467676030/, in multiple patterns. Seriously, my daughter will NOT take them off. I love them Legs!

Ellen · May 8, 2007 at 8:34 pm

So that I can replicate this scene: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sophialandrum/467676030/, in all patterns of Legs. Seriously, my daughter won’t take them off! I love them Legs!

Rebecca Stanley · May 8, 2007 at 8:54 pm

Baby Legs are so fabulous! My daughter has two pairs (my favourite being the cow print) and we get comments on them all the time! Rainbow ones are so bright and cheerful- what a great give-away…if we win these ones they will be gifted to a baby leg(less) baby so they can share in the fun!
