100% Natural Ketchup from Hunts and Photo Contest

Published by on

Truthfully, we’ve always been a Heinz Ketchup family. On the other hand I’ve been trying very hard to keep our family eating ‘real food’. I’m trying to cook with simple ingredients and avoid a lot of processed foods. All that said, we like ketchup and we like healthy, so I was more than happy to try out Hunt’s 100% Natural Ketchup.

Hunts 100% Natural Ketchup

The good news, not one person noticed the new ketchup. It tasted great, just like ketchup. When I questioned them, it was unanimous, they liked it. Thanks Hunt’s I now have a healthier ketchup for my family.

To celebrate that their new ketchup now features just five simple ingredients, no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial ingredients and no preservatives, Hunt’s is giving moms a high-five to celebrate by hosting Hunt’s High Five Family Photo Fun Contest and invites Moms to submit pictures on their Facebook page depicting family accomplishments and simple victories. To enter, visit http://www.facebook.com/Hunts for a chance to win a family vacation (up to $5,000).

Enjoy!

I’ve tried this ketchup, it’s amazing, nothing beats real, natural ketchup. I loved it so much first time I tried it that I ordered a full box of 10. I know, I know it’s nuts but hey, who cares?

Hmmm, maybe when we finish our gigantic bottle of ketchup from Costco, we’ll give Hunt’s a try. I remember having it as a kid, but it’s so long ago (no comments thank you) that I can’t remember if I liked it.

@jafer, Now that we’ve been using it awhile, we’ve decided that it’s better than our regular brand. It tastes like ‘real’ food and not preservatives.

It’s also the red of tomatoes and not bright fire-engine red, which is always a good sign.

Let me know what you think if you give it a try.

Why do you think that you now have “healthier ketchup”? Ketchups sweetened with high fructose corn syrup and with refined sugar both have the same number of calories and are indistinguishable to the human body. Focusing on condiments is not the way to a healthier lifestyle.

I love the pics so much. Makes me remember my hometown-a serene and quite place. The air so fresh and the trees so relaxing.
