A few pictures from Mother’s Day!

This one I call – ‘Tread Softly and Carry a Big Stick’.
Sam doesn’t quite have the same diplomacy policy as his sister.

I call this one – ‘Wee Warrior’. Strangely enough that is a pelvis from a horse skeleton around his neck, and a rib in his hand. While the girls were happy to peer at the bones and nudge them with their feet; Sam felt a need to wear them. He asked if he could, “wear them to school”. “YA Right SAM!” He’s not quite as evolved as I’d hoped.
I spent Mother’s Day at ‘my’ Grandma’s farm, with my parents, aunt and uncles. After a great dinner, we all took a walk. It was a chilly spring day. It won’t be long now until summer (see the buds just coming out on the trees). I took a whole slew of pictures. Speaking of slough(s) ...

This shot of the slough and the tree I call – ‘Still Water’. I agree I’m not that creative … can you think of a better name?
Finally, my favourite …

A family portrait. I can’t think of a name for this one. Help me out!
