I might be ill and could use a little TLC and rest. Unfortunately, Georgia didn’t get the memo.
I took her with me to a Bridal Shower today.
It went really well, except when:
- Georgia started her hair on fire (votif candle on table).
- Georgia decided to take off her skirt and panties in the middle of the venue after jumping in mud puddles, she couldn’t possibly wear a wet skirt.
- Georgia opened the car door as we drove down the highway (going 65 mph or 110 kmh).
Anyway, we’re home now … in one piece. Just a little less hair.

If it wasn’t obvious from my last post … I am kind of partial to Sam’s longer hair. I took all of your advice though, and let him make his own choice. Check out his choice below.
We were a day late going to the barber … yesterday afternoon I was temporarily paralyzed and lost feeling and the ability to move in both my arms and chest area. VERY SCARY! I’ve had this really weird tingling in my arms (and legs) for quite awhile. I spent last evening in emergency and today getting tests. I hope to have an MRI in the next couple of days. The consensus of the doctors that I have seen is that I have a space-occupying lesion near the C8 vertebrae (even after research … I can’t quite pinpoint what that is … I think it could be many things), but of course there are no answers until the MRI is done. sigh

Sam before cut.

It took quite awhile to get rid of all that hair. It was hard to watch …

Still cute :) and feisty!

Sam the Man!

I took this photo of Sam on Saturday, in Canmore along the Bow River. While Mr. MK and Lizzy skied Sam, Georgia and I spent the day throwing rocks, climbing rocks, playing in the park and I managed to sneak in a wee bit of shopping (well window shopping).
Sam is getting a hair cut tonight. The major topic of discussion around the dinner table is—> ‘really short or just a trim?’. Recently a friend of mine, has repeatedly told me, “he could be a girl, that hair … those eyes” or “imagine him with pigtails, he’d be a really pretty girl“. It is really starting to BUG me! Piss off already. The same friend has a girl who is often mistaken for a boy, surely she knows it doesn’t make anyone feel good when you say these kinds of things?
Sam likes the hair (except, when it is being brushed) and says he likes it long. He also doesn’t seem overly concerned to have it cut. I love it! If I could order hair, I would order his. The color is great, it’s thick, it curls, it’s a crime it’s on a boy’s head.
Hmmm … what to do?
Results here tomorrow!
You see that Alpine Breeze blowing through Sam’s hair? You to can have this experience (*wink*) ... ***

30 Tiny Moments – Day 6
Lizzy’s ‘New Do!’

Warning: winding your hair around this teeny-tiny little comb over and over and over, may result in bangs shortly after.
This is just the most recent of Lizzy’s ‘New Do’s!’ She has a long history of scissor wrangling.
