They look like orphans (happy orphans), but if I am honest this is pretty much par for the course at this time of night (7 pm). Lizzy is on her 2nd or 3rd outfit of the day. I had to take a clean pair of pants to school about 2:00 pm because she ‘fell’ in a puddle.
They love the trampoline and have loads of fun together. It was a smart buy! Good exercise and fun, you can’t beat that.
Cue—> Rodeo Song – Well it’s forty below and I don’t give a f*(# ... got a heater in my truck … OOPS! Sorry … I’m not much of a singer!
For those of you who’ve never heard this song (it’s a western Canadian Classic – we’re so cultured):
WARNING: Strong Language - those of you with delicate sensibilities should pass!
The song really doesn’t belong here; it just popped into my head when I saw the picture of the kids walking to school. It wasn’t really 40 below today, but holy-moly it sure felt like it!
The point is we’re walking and it’s cold. If you’re wondering why I drag my kids out in sub-zero temps you can read my old post – I challenge you to walk! Nothing has changed…
