Seven Days in a Week: Monday (1)

Posted on 10 March 2008 by MommyKnows

Due to a busy week. schedule. I am going to join OMSH and post a daily photo, instead of a wordy post for just one week.

Seven Days in a Week: Monday (1)

Reading was a chore for Lizzy for a long time. Finally, she is starting to read for pleasure. For this I am thankful. I am also grateful that she let me snap this shot. She is getting stingy with photo-ops and letting me use them on the blog.

fun! enjoy the “word break”…your pictures are always enough to stand on their own (perhaps it’s the stunning subjects)…i typically don’t care for “photo posts” on blogs where i don’t actually know the people (what can i say…i’m selfish), but yours is an exception. ;)

Aw, reading. My oldest is dying to be able to read like that. She does fairly well, but mostly just out loud.

I loved reading until I got to the point in school where we were required to read. Now about 17 years later I’m getting back into enjoying it again. Sad.

My niece is book devourer at 3. I hope that continues. I am an avid reader and always have been.

Just keep picking books that she will be interested in. I think that is the key to reading for pleasure success.

Hi, I love the photo of her daughter reading. My two sons have been read to since they were toddlers and they still don’t enjoy reading. I read everything and thought I was setting an example. Go figure! Cindi
