I’m a KINDER Mom …

Published by on

Yay, I’m a KINDER Mom and my status amongst my children is at an all time HIGH! They’re all Kinder egg lovers.

I’ve always included Kinder Surprise eggs in our family holidays – in Christmas stockings and in Easter baskets. They’re always a staple at the movies, where they come as part of the ‘Kinder Kids Combo’.

It’s a treat I feel good saying, “yes” to. The kids get a reasonable sized serving of a high-quality cocoa treat and a fun toy. Even I join in the chorus of, “Whadjaget? Whadjaget?” as the kids open their toys.

The folks at Kinder have made the toy reveal even more fun with the official relaunch of Kinder Surprise in Canada complete with an all-new Kinder Surprise 2012 Toy Collection! From blow-up frogs, to cars that GO, and planes that fly the new eggs are full of Big fun.

MAKING TIME FOR PLAY:

Now that school is back in session, outdoor play seems like it’s even more important. Rather than picking up the kids from school and heading straight home to the joys of homework and supper prep, the kids and I have been hanging out at the playground for ‘after-school recess’. I often pack a small lunch and drinks, we all enjoy the autumn sunshine while we can. Best of all there are no screens, no homework, no dishes and no chores and that means –> harmony!

Enjoy!

I wish that it was summer all year so that the kids can play outside just like you mentioned! Playing outside keeps the kids away from the TV too. But, most importantly, they have fun and get some exercise at the same time!

Why oh why do they not have these delightful things in the states?! We have friends in Germany that send a few to us every year and I LOVE them. Sounds like you’re having a great time with your kids this fall! We love playing at the park after school.

@Safire, They’re so yummy and fun. There must be a reason … but what?

My stepdaughter loves Kinder! Her teacher used to give them out in elementary school when the students did something nice for each other. I think it’s like the Cracker Jack effect… that little toy is such a thrill!

I’m with you…I LOVE to play outside with my kids. We regularly go to the state park nearby to hike, or ride bikes on a nearby bikepath. There is absolutely nothing better than being out in nature and giving your child undivided attention! As for the Kinder toys…I have honestly never heard of them, but you have piqued my interest and now I’m going to google them to learn more. THANX!!

I’m a kinder mum too! My 3yo son just loves kinder surprises and when anyone tells him they have a surprise for him he asks is it a kinder? My husband and I fight over who gets to assemble the toy for him hehe

I’m so sad that I missed the Kinder Surprise re-launch!
I’ve been a life long Kinder egg lover. My parents always bought me Kinder eggs as a special treat! I’ve started a Kinder surprise blog (insidetheegg.wordpress) profiling some of the toys I’ve collected over the 29 years of my life!

One Kinder mom blog I read talked about the (potential) impacts of Kinder eggs on the cognitive and motor development of children. Very cool.
