So what have you got planned for the long weekend? I am going to VEG – I may stay in my PJ’s for several days. The forcast is for rain! On the home front, the kidlets are going to Grandma’s (well the youngest three) – FREEDOM! So while the kids are wreaking havoc down on the Ranch. I am going to update the site, sleep, read, sleep, read blogs I like (like this one and this one and this one), sleep, eat out, see a movie, sleep – you get the idea right? I’m doing a happy dance … happy, happy, happy! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the kidlets, but this ROCKS. My mom ROCKS (I may need to be reminded of this in future).

As soon as I found out the kids were leaving for FOUR days, I went instantly into lazy mode, cooking supper was so out of the question. I felt so free and irresponsible, I had Mr. MommyKnows bring home fastfood. GASP! We don’t do fast food, so big treat for the kids!

My burger wasn’t right, I could see the lettuce I requested not be on there hanging out the sides. So I opened it up and I have just one thing to say, “WHERE’S THE BEEF?”.

Hmmm … I think I was gypped.

Georgia on the other hand was thrilled with the quality of the food!

We had a beautiful spring day today and I was reminded why I love spring/summer and why I don’t!

Pro: It’s great fun to spend time outside with the kids! It also makes walking the kids to school so much easier.

This is Georgia picking me dandelions earlier today. She thinks they are beautiful. We have a terrible dandelion problem, because I refuse to let Mr. Mommyknows use chemicals on the lawn. Georgia is wearing a great dress from BLU available of course from www.thebabymarketplace.com. This is one of my favorite baby clothing lines, mostly because of the gorgeous details.

Con: the sand from the playground that makes it’s way into my house. This is Sam’s lovely mess – SIGH!

After a long day … Georgia climbs in the bassinette that she hasn’t fit in since she was 6 weeks old for relaxing read!
